In addition to shooting great photos and videos, showing up on time and providing a great experience for our customers and partners is very important. Through the check-in feature we provide our partners more immediate insight into the current status of their photo and video shoots without having to chase you down for the details.
We ask that you check-in for every shoot. You will see a check-in button on your shoot tasks and also in each project feed 15 minutes prior to the scheduled shoot date/time. Simply click the check-in button, enable location sharing (first time only) and let us know that you’ve arrived.
What if I don’t want to enable location sharing?
If you don’t share your location with us, it’s just one additional click to check-in and let us know what’s happening.
What if I’m running late?
Being on time is important, but if something unexpected comes up we want to keep the client updated. If you are sharing your location the system will automatically know you aren’t close by and ask you to tell us why so we can let the client know.
Ooops! I forgot to update status or I have an emergency!
Keeping all SmartShoot projects updated is very important, but we know mistakes and emergencies happen. When checking in, please select “Can’t Make It” and let us know why so we can help.
