Pro - Short for the Creative, Photographer or Videographer working with SmartShoot.
Client - The business where the shoot takes place — e.g. a restaurant, salon, or retail store — or the owner/contact person representing that business.
Partner - The platform that hired SmartShoot to deliver content at scale – e.g. a food delivery, booking, or e-commerce service.
Project - The official term used in the SmartShoot platform for any individual job, photoshoot, video shoot, assignment, booking, or appointment. While it’s most commonly referred to as a “job” or “shoot” in emails and day-to-day communication, “Project” is the formal label used in the system.
Project ID - The unique identifier for each shoot, shown after the project name (e.g. City Cafe – 123654). You’ll find it in the project feed, payment emails, and on your Payments Page. Use this ID when referencing a specific shoot in communication or payment inquiries.
SmartBook - SmartShoot’s auto-scheduling tool that assigns jobs based on your availability, distance, and account status.
SmartBook Distance - The maximum distance you’re willing to travel for automatically assigned jobs. Can be set separately for different job types.
Recycled Images - Any images not captured during the scheduled shoot – including reused, archived, internet-sourced, or client-provided photos. These are strictly prohibited.
