If a client reschedules with less than 24 hours' notice, you may qualify for a cancellation fee. To be eligible, a confirmation call must have been logged in the project >24 hours prior to the appointment and you must update the project immediately (same day). For client reasons, you will need to upload proof of the cancellation request such as a screen shot of a text message, phone call log or email.
In the rare event that you have an emergency and need to cancel the shoot with less than 24 hours notice, it’s best to contact the client to let them know and attempt to reschedule. Late rescheduling or canceling on a client may affect eligibility for future cancellation fees or limit future job offers.
